Setting up custom Defects

Overview

Fire Survey Pro includes a selection of standard defects to help you get started. You can customize these defects or add your own.

 

How defects are used.

When conducting surveys, operatives will select the appropriate defects for a pin. These defects are then displayed in the Site Reports generated by the system. If needed, you can choose to hide defects from the report. For more details on Site Reports, [click here].

 

Adding custom defects

To add a custom defect, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Custom Defects tab.
  2. Click the Add New Defect button.
  3. In the pop-up form, enter the title and description.
  4. Click Save.

Your custom defect is now available for use across various projects in the system.

 

Editing defects

To update a defect's description, click Edit next to it. Then, make the changes.

 

Archiving defects

To remove a defect, standard or custom, click Archive in the defects list. This keeps your defect list clean and relevant.
